We are the Messengers

Technology has advanced our daily routines in ways that is convenient to us. Such as instant home-made coffee, to a phone call that reaches the other side of the world. In the ways it has made our lives easier, it has also made the life of a journalist quicker than before. Patience and interest is something hard to find in a society that is fed constant fresh news, which is why it must be the main focus of reporters everywhere. Now in 250 words or less, journalists can spread immediate news rather than wait for it to be published days later in the paper. Something that took place an hour ago in another continent is at the tip of your fingers to explore.

It may not even be news that reaches your attention but instead the opinion of journalists and writers on subjects such as social media, presidential candidates, and other controversial topics. A blog is a form of writing content that can be expressive and open for discussion. It can tackle topics that are not normally broadcasted on television. Blogs can also be strictly informational or in some cases it can provoke a reader to ask themselves questions they normally would not. Social media is a tool that can be good or bad, but it is up to the reader to decide how it impacts their views and life.

Journalists are the modern messengers to all audiences and now with the ability to spread the message with a tweet or post, who it can touch is limitless.
